Osteotomy (VCO) ...
|
Osteotomy of tibial valgisation occupies a large part in the surgical
treatment of femoral tiabial osteoarthritus This technique has in fact since a
long time showed its efficiency. However, the objective of the VCO system is to
reduce immobilisation while ensuring a functional recovery, this thanks to an immediate
stabilisation of the osteotomy.

This VCO system is presented in three sizes, of which the principal difference resides in the detachment of the plate part. A version with minimal blockage is also available for additional osteotomy. The plate has a plate part, a compression screw on a threaded axe and also 2 or 3 plates for fixation. This system with minimal blockage offers by its design a strong mechanical compression. Entirely made of titan, it ensures equally the necessary elasticity. A complete range of screws with spongy and cortical is proposed and also a recalling screw partially threaded. |
