Socket without cementThe glenoid prosthesis without cements, which allows for a cheap cutting, includes two different components : porous coated bottoming made of metal and polythene fitting. The bottoming displays two splinters, place for it will have to be prepared with the gauge included in the ancillary. The surgeon has three different sizes of glenoid prosthesis at his disposal : small, average and large pattern (size 1,2 and 3). The first step to take is the removal of the remaining cartilage by means of either a curette or a small rotary bone bur, while carefully retracting the under chondroid bone. Positioning the prosthesis requires drilling of two holes necessary for splinters. This glenoid prosthesis has to be implanted in two stages :
- Positioning the metal bottoming by means of the impactor, It is to be noticed that fixing for the bottoming can be strengthened by addition of two ethmoid screws before positioning the fitting
