Furthers steps at socket level

Sometimes, we can notice a post traumatic or degenerative glenoid discharge. In that case, it is necessary to implant the prosthesis after stopping with either coracoid process or bone graft.

At the level of dome under acromion

It is then necessary to perform an acromioplastic surgery by excising again the coraco acromial ligament, especially if there is a clash between dome under acromion and cap during insertion.

At the level of joint of acromial collar bone

On that occurence, it is possible to perform an excoriation at the level of the joint of acromial collar bone.

At the level of tendon of long biceps

Basically, this long biceps must remain in accordance with shoulder physiology. But in case of fracture, it can be useful to perform a tenodesis on the edges of bicipital slide.

Opening in capsule must be stitched up whenever dislocated. If a detachment sac occurs in the periosteal capsule, it must be removed by means of either a clamp or one or two screws that will help joining capsule with glenoid edge
