Preparation of humerus in cold pathology

Last drilling of humeral chest is performed by the corresponding rasp implant. At all time while the positionning of the humeral rod is completed, orientation can always be checked thanks to the rod in the forearm axle. There are 4 different sizes of humeral implants which can ensure adequate adjustment to various Body buildings : 8, 10, 12 and 14 mm. The latest developments in modern technologies of sealing are quite interesting. They consist in washing and drying the medullar socket after filling it by injection of cement one centimetre under the distal end of the prosthesis. The prosthesis rod is adjsuted to rod carrier by the designed threaded rod and the whole device is inserted through cement using the pin lined up on forearm axle, elbow bended by 90°.
