Preparation of humerus in cold pathology

Cephalic stage Humeral head is measured. Different diameters and height for humeral head can be used. Two different shapes of humeral heads are at disposal ; centred and off centred heads. In the case of an off centred head off centring must be performed by lining up the designed angle graduation (placed under the head) with axle of the wing shaped edge of the humeral rod. These heads can be adjusted on the Morse taper of humeral rod in order to restore the best feasible anatomical state with the help of counterdrawings before surgery, whenever possible. Procedures for osteosynthesis and tuberosities are to be treated in the same way.
