Femoral guide axis
The guide axis must perfectly mate with the femoral condyle. Otherwise,
remodeling of the condyle will be necessary (oscillating saw or rasp).

Resection guide positioning

Then the resection and drilling guide is used, with the anterior edge of the guide located at the anterior mark and the antero-posterior median line of the femoral condy- le. Correct sizing should give posterior resec-tion of the condyle of al least 3 to 5 mm. The drilling and resection guide shall be secured with pegs. A drill bit with stopper is provided for this purpose. We recommend drilling the superior hole of the drilling guide and immobilizing it to correct, if necessary, its position in relation to the cen- ter axis of the femoral condyle. |
Condyle posterior resection
| One makes the posterior condyle resection using an oscillating saw. |
