Femoral anchoring drilling
| On the same guide, a drill bit with stopper is used to prepare the condyle for the trial prosthesis plugs and final femoral component. |
|
Preparation of the bone notch
|
After ablation of the resection and drilling guide of the posterior condyle, one prepares a bone groove between the posterior drilling hole and the poste- rior condyle base, using an osteotome. This groove will be used to position the posterior wing of the femoral trial component and the final implant. |
Femoral contour rail impacting
| One fits the femoral contour rail. This rail corresponds to the size of the gauge selected at the beginning of the operation. It reproduces the trial condyle curve. Pay attention to properly guide it in the anterior and poste- rior direction. |
